Dallas-Fort Worth Executive Board

Providing a Communication Forum for Federal Agencies

Welcome

The Federal Executive Board (FEB) serves as the local Federal ambassador to federal communities in 28 field locations across the United States. Similar to the President’s Cabinet in our Nation’s Capital, Federal Executive Board (FEB) membership becomes automatic and mandatory by virtue of the incumbent being the senior agency official within each FEB’s geographic boundaries.

The Dallas-Fort Worth FEB is comprised of 80 (eighty) Federal Agency Heads, and 220 Federal Departments and Independent Agencies and Senior agency officials representing the Federal District, Area and Field Offices throughout North Central Texas.
Our jurisdiction covers 16  counties including: Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Sumervell, Tarrant and Wise.

VISION

To be catalyst for better Government.

MISSION

Increase the effectiveness of Federal Government by strengthening coordination of government activities.

Federal Workforce Operational Status

OPEN

Given a weather-related or unusual situation affecting the Federal Executive Board (FEB) geographic area, FEBs provide up-to-date, accurate and consistent information, such as from the National Weather Service (NWS), so local Federal Agency Leaders can make informed decisions on an operating status decision for their Federal agency employees in those areas. Please note that each local Federal agency head makes workforce status decisions for their agency employees and should report that workforce status decision to their agency Headquarters.

Emergency Preparedness

The FEBs primary role during emergencies is to provide sound and timely information to the federal community regarding federal operations, weather conditions and safety highlights. This service is provided on a 24/7 basis.
